Compatibility notes for Intel Macs

If you see some behavior that we haven't noted, please file a Support Request. Be sure to give us as much background as you can: what computer you're using, which device, which application, etc.

FireWire Industrial/Scientific Driver

Our drivers are not working with FireWire cameras on Intel Macs yet.

Webcam Driver

Our drivers are not working with FireWire cameras on Intel Macs yet.

For USB webcams, you can use the current release (version 1.1) with PowerPC applications under Rosetta with Tiger. This version does not support native Intel applications.

We have a beta webcam driver that works with PPC and Intel applications on Intel Macs.

USB Still Camera Drivers

The still camera driver works on Intel Macs.

Wireless Driver

Use Version 1.0.4. After a clean install, your computer may not recognize the driver immediately. If that happens, you can open your Network control panel and make some trivial changes, such as retyping your network name. Click Apply Now, and your Mac should find the driver.
